unyahs ears laying flatter on default, making everyone assume theyre upset constantly. unyah have to consciously force their ears to go up or swivel. his tail flicks and puffs having to be intentional. having to do that AND facial and speaking adjustments? im so sorry. thats hell. forgive me

even jullus complains that unyah talks too weirdly in garlean which is what really affirms it. luckily unyah learned erozean around the lemures and not books otherwise theyd been fucked in that language too. #oc:unyah

urianger and unyah share the same "nerdy kids who learned how to speak from books" disease but no one believes unyah when they mention it once. their erozean, after all, is perfectly normal. a bit stuffy but to sharlayans its relatively casual. none of the scions say anything about it though

its just feels like being told the only way you can reach a "happy ending" is by not being yourself. that your trauma and ugly past is antithetical to be loved. that it is something to be discarded, and only then will others sympathize and proclaim u innocent. overall i prefer her actual ending

yotsuyu dies and while i feel like that ending was far from the worst, and one of the few deaths that didnt feel entirely without merit, i think her living as tsuyu would just be a nightmare scenario. she was denied true agency her entire life, so to then be denied agency by some "alternative" self

seeing sprouts opinions on tsuyu vs yotsuyu is always interesting but its weird in a sense i have yet to see someone share the feeling i had (for the most part.) theres a lot of sentiment that tsuyu is authentic that i dont agree with. i dont think living as tsuyu was in anyway a happy ending
