Every time the "DARK ROMANCE IS BAD. IT'S ROTTING GIRLS' BRAINS AND CAUSING ABUSE" wank shows up I always see ppl like "well, they just shouldn't be marketing it to kids and teenagers! It shouldn't be aimed at YA demographic!" And every time, it's NOT! EVERY SINGLE TIME.

My bsky feature wishlist 🙏 - group chats - images in DMs - gif uploads - emote reactions in chats - ability to mark a text post as NSFW (right now it's only for images) Then this place might be very close to perfect 👍

Drawings of Hugh Dancy as Will Graham and Mads Mikkelsen as #Hannibal #Art #Fannibals

Graphite pencil drawing of Will Graham's face.

Will Graham's face from the side, white and black pencil on black paper. He is looking up, lips parted, curly hair disheveled a bit. His eye shines with inner light, looks troubled.

Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter's face profiles only subtle graphite pencil lines, facing each other, photographed from an angle.

Now more than ever is the time to stop clutching your pearls over queer art and fiction that you find "uncomfortable". You can, will, and have contributed to the mindset that queer art deserves censorship. Let people be freaks. DEFEND your freaks. Embrace the freak you've been hiding inside.

This is how it feels every day living that proship life online

A four panel comic
1st panel: 2 ppl are asking a smaller person "Hi, what is your opinion on fiction?"
The smaller person is wearing two emojis on their chest or a rainbow and a cut of meat.
2nd panel: The smaller person says "I'm proship!"
3rd panel: The two people stare with dubious expressions while images are faded out behind them showing their assumptions. The images are various things like the Sickos Laughing meme, an image of red flags, the word DANGER, the words Problematic over a brain, and various stock images showing criminals, abuse, and incest.
4th panel: the smaller person gazes off, while the images of what they meant float behind them. The images are of free speech, and anti-bullying, as well as a lot of muting, blocking, and other curating tools and filters on twitter and AO3.
