Without saying your age, what is your favourite movie that came out when you were 20 years old. (my hands are tied for this one)

Dolly Parton, among a thousand other amazing things she did in her life, gifted over 330 million books to kids through her Imagination Library program. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the world, but you can support the program today to keep it going imaginationlibrary.com

She was a furry, but I haven't seen her name being shared in remembrance. Our community should keep her name and spirit alive.

I'm actually working on some anthro art, for myself and I enjoy it :D She's actually done now, but I had to reset my computer yesterday so I was lazy xD So here's a wip for now.

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

A pride flag with every color band represented by a NASA image. White is Earth clouds, pink is aurora, blue is the Sun in a specific wavelength, brown is Jupiter clouds, black is the Hubble deep field, red is the top of sprites, orange is a Mars crater, yellow is the surface of Io, green is a lake with algae, blue is Neptune, and purple is the Crab Nebula in a specific wavelength.

I think Elden Ring is once again a very strong example for "Art Direction and Stylistic choices are more important than hyper realistic graphics." Good Art Direction not only supports the story but also the UI, UX and GameDesign as a whole. It's not a gimmick.

I feel like many people don't want to see new things, challenge themselves and explore other people's views, ideas and styles. People want to stay in their comfortable standards. They don't want to grow, because every growth comes with a certain amount of effort and pain. That's why genA/ is a thing

In a foolish attempt to keep my sanity I threw myself down a rabbit hole and am hyperfixating on the Remedyverse, while waiting for the EldenRing DLC and playing BG3. Yes I'm playing BG3 not obsessing over it. No I'm all over Control and Alan Wake again. Weird pretty shit always wins me over 😁

Finally did a piece of Alan Wake 2 fan art! God I loved that game. I know Remedy has way more money and clout than I'll ever have, but it still gives me hope that if they can make the thing they love just as weird and silly as they want, that maybe I can do the same for my work.

Chibi Alex Casey, Alan Wake, and Warlin Door doing the Herald of Darkness dance. Each is backed by a colorful panel recalling the lighting of that sequence. Everyone is having fun but Alan, lol.

I miss enjoying art. Rn even looking at art is no fun, because you have to double check everything against A/. Let's not talk about creating, that's even worse. I miss having fun drawing. It's all tainted at the moment.

BG3 update: We just finished the Act 2 Boss. And let me say, it's impossible for me to play this game and not be a lesbian. I love them all so much Also Shadowheart really grew on me, I might like her even more than Karlach. What's happening?

I made some new "Blood and Steel" dice. Its a quite popular design. Just two colors split evenly, but where the two colors meet each other, its a fight for supremacy,. Will the dark side win or be kept in check for eternity? (Advertisement)

I recovered mostly from Covid. It took some strength and progress from me. I struggle to get back to my good mental and physical health status I was at for most of 2023. This slows down work significantly. I don't draw well while depressed, exhausted and fatiqued.

I'm so sad and angry to see so many artists burn out and/or leaving the profession due to A/i and the lack of appreciation for our craft. Same with writers. Everyone tries to get us but all we want is to just exist and be able to pay rent and food and make the world a bit prettier. :((
