Trying not to panic here but the smell of burning from somewhere in the vicinity is getting stronger by the minute. I've had to shut the windows. I'm 2 miles north of Winchester and was just in town and couldn't smell anything so doubt it's from the New Forest fire. 😱

Oh well thank goodness for that. I've finally received my copyedit. The editor loved it and hopes there's a third. Yay! Was asked for two initially so fingers crossed. Hopefully I don't have to do an Alan Partridge and dance around in leather pants asking for another series. No one wants that.
