There are, now, quite a few fan mags about (with varying degrees of professionalism) so if I did do something I'd want to it to stand apart from the usual history/essay/review thing. I do have a few ideas that I spend far too much time rolling about in my head.

Following on from yesterday's game zine blowout I dug these out this afternoon. From the US and only three issues (each slightly more pages and slicker than the last), they're anthologies of short comics based on games (and we're talking any games from any era) and the hit rate is pretty high.

Yes, when did Knight Lore and Underwurlde come out? End of '84? I got the Speccy in '85 and then a C64 the same year. Was definitely weird to eventually be at Rare in 2000.

I've been doing an hour or so each evening at a much more leisurely pace than I'd done, previously. I'm stocking up on ingredients/meals, planning routes and not rushing into battles. I think I've hit a nice rhythm with it. Maybe I'll have finished it this time next year!
