I started in a new school today. I had asked for an air purifier, and was told no problem. Turns out, every room in this little school has an air purifier. Good for them…

Canada doesn’t want the “benefits of a state”. The US wants to treat us like a state instead of a sovereign nation. And a good neighbour who just gifted them a bridge.

Whatever the PM decides to do next, I’ve decided I will not be referring to it as “retaliation”. I choose to think of it as “matching energy”.

We can have both inclusion and safe classrooms. But not if we are going to cut the education budget by 3% each year. True in NS as well as Ontario.

What they are hiding, with their “natural” disease mediated immunity, is that we are living in an unnatural world, of sealed in boxes of dirty air called buildings, where we are miserably slaving away to death for wages that won’t cover the rent. And it’s killing us.

This is concerning. I lived in BC. We had mostly small earthquakes with the occasional larger one. Houses didn’t have basements. Materials were used to limit structural damage. We don’t do that here. Buildings will suffer structural damage insurance will not cover.

Honestly, it's like the people in this fracking session can't hear themselves. They've talked about: poisoned water, drought, earthquake risk, and risk to health. Why would we do this? There were very good reasons for the fracking ban. It's like we've lost our minds.

While it's nice that Perkins House received CMAP funding to stay open this summer, it means we're now using CMAP to try and fix big cuts when even that program was reduced by 50%. This means other small museums have less chance to get funded.

Went for a walk. The first picture is our road at 3 pm. The last 3 are the local park where I went to check on the ducks. They seem okay. Someone was down and checked on them already.
Our snow covered road. Two sets of ruts from my neighbour’s truck show the 15 cm in the middle. Park, snow, footprints in snow, trees. Walking path covered in pristine snow. Snow covered treesFootprints in the snow lead down to the river where a flock of ducks are huddled close to the bank in the water. Ice can be seen beyond them in the river
