Porffor Alpha 9 and above now supports ESM natively, so no more pre-bundling 🎉 My @gleam.run cli patch (see above thread) still supports older Porffor versions by parsing the version to detect whether pre-bundling is still required. You can also now provide a path to a non-global porf install.

WASM is now working (on a really simple test case)! Thanks to Mendy Berger for making the PR to porffor to support WASM again github.com/CanadaHonk/p...

Terminal in a directory called "gleam-porffor-example" showing an alias to a local build of the gleam cli with some modiciations. It then running "gleam export porffor --target=wasm" which Porffor-ed and Wasmified the build. Finally running wasmer on the generated wasm file which outputs "Hello from Porffor/alpha 5 (1f4ae4a 2026-09-10)"
