Boycotting also reduces the odds of companies wanting to put out more related merchandise, and that in turn can lead to less public interest in the brand. The more that happens, the less influence Rowling has on public sentiment. This is why refusing to accept even free stuff can have an impact.

Had a horrificly close overtake cycling home, from a scaffolding lorry - just reported that bastard to Op Snap. I also had a wide, safe overtake (miles later) by a Range Rover driver towing a boat trailer. Glad I managed to catch up with the driver later on (he was stopped by the side of the (1/3)
