Yea. I have that cuz some words just sound strange. Bait = cibesa so in this case I dont technically have to remove the c because it can have a Ss sound. But I have to ask if saying hivesa, sivesa, or vivesa sounds better than saying civesa once the b is shifted. Object or abstract Civesaoo/civesasa

I'll try to do an example of a word Amauki is 3 syllables so there is a dipthong. a-mow-kee the mow gets the stress and the kee retains the mora. This remains true if it is pluralized a-mow-kee-vee. The stress is unchanged but there is a new mora syllable that changes the context.

For example if I were working on a 'nivani hawaiian' it would end in tonal rules. Whereas 'nivani japanese' would be mora-timed non-tonal While also implementing the stress rules of latin for the first syllables were i paying attention to that aspect right now.

Because high nivani uses a mora-timed tonal pitch for the end of the word to aid it in feeling melodic when speaking and giving it that almost sing-song vibe. This depends on the word construction and strata/ regional variant of Nivani. 2/3

#conglangity 4 Ooooo. Experimental stuff that I am not sure of. Since one of the ingredients to Nivani is latin it actually has stress rules. This is where i would need to pay attention to where any penults or dipthongs might be. With the exception to the end of a high nivani word. 1/3

Vae for example is incapable of making words entirely. Relying instead on ASL and tongue clicks and fin posture to help relay her mood and intent. Count how many times your tongue hits the roof of your mouth when saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious And imagine your tongue is sandpaper.

Heavy consonant usage irritates their mouths physically. Hence why they softened their language. Some of them do not like speaking with humans because it means using lots of consonants. Others lack the vocal cord capacity for it if their mertation trends towards aphonia. 2/3

#conglangity 3 I touched on this a bit the other day when I mentioned Nivani being vowel heavy and there are consonants that are preferred. This doesn't necessarily mean other consonants are discarded entirely. They will just almost never use them. There are a few reasons 1/3
