Day 444! Dear diary. I crashed the editor. Attempted to update the ranged pirate skeleton to use the new musket animations and it did not like that. Project refuses to load. Tomorrow's problem comes with a rollback.

Yes I think this will probably work better. NPC's can share keys and have unique transforms. More tedious to map if there are multiple locations but more options now.

Day 441! I'm doing the thing I didn't want to do and working on the enemy NPC's. Worked out the name for the sword pirates and flopped some placeholder sword in their hands and worked on some of the stats and what not. #indiegamedev

#conglangity 3 I touched on this a bit the other day when I mentioned Nivani being vowel heavy and there are consonants that are preferred. This doesn't necessarily mean other consonants are discarded entirely. They will just almost never use them. There are a few reasons 1/3

Day 440! NPC transform tidied up into an interface and part of a data table so that will now work for every quest tagged NPC. Unless I have overlooked something this completes this system and friendly NPC's only need models and voice lines at this point. #indiegamedev

High Nivani shifts this ruleset a little and introduces more consonants in their language as they began to filter in latin. Plus I just liked the way the numbers were sounding. Though I still have to work out the rest of them. 5/6

Yup! I was at 200 for a long, long time. This takes quite a bit of work to get visible. I noticed the other day on @cutegamesclub.itch.io YouTube videos on mermaids that several commenters mentioned David's Siren game. Imagine reaching a point where randoms name drop your work.

Day 439! So my idea of moving an NPC depending on narrative phase works. Need to tidy the code up. This will be important later and you can't expect Susana to stand around on the beach all day. Might be done with friendly NPC system stuff tomorrow unless i've forgotten something. #indiegamedev

Just saying since some of the new followers are deeper into politics than I am and I mainly just want art and books and games and for people to be good to each other.

Day 438! The dialogue for all 3 player characters through what will one day be the demo is in. This takes care of one of the minor issues from yesterday. So tomorrow will update NPC transforms and that might wrap up this segment, barring some major issue arising later. #indiegamedev

Still not used to rendering in anything other than treating this like a pencil project. Got frustrated. But mainly wanted to correct the eye color since I had been using yellow eyes for her before.
