Okay, we are going to IGNORE the oil stains on the concrete, remembering this is a soap studio first and foremost, not a cat exhibition space. But look! Loki is out and eating with the clowder this morning! First morning she has wanted wet food and been brave enough!

A very messy concrete floor with five cats visible, eating breakfast. L-R, starting in the top left-hand corner we have Cadence, a black cat, with Loki, a grey cat eating straight from the concrete next to her. We are ignoring that they've dragged the Felix off their perfectly good plate onto the floor. Then we have Ahsoka, a black cat, Barney, a half grown tabby and white kitten, and Ginny, a ginger girl at the bottom, with her tail in the air, eating neatly from her plate like the perfect girl she is.

All of this in mind, I'm glad that my first time actually finishing Loom (in 2020) was on the EGA version, with the Roland Upgrade installed. If I were to play Loom through a second time, I'd want to do so on a real EGA computer, with a real EGA monitor, to fully appreciate Ferrari's artwork.

As much as Star Trek Elite Force's Holomatch is largely a Quake 3 total-conversion, with extremely similar play mechanics, the weapons are still fun as hell and I can play as the Doctor.

it took me at least a dozen attempts at it to get anywhere close to shooting par, some of the later holes have really asshole layouts, and the wind effect is highly exaggerated

NES Golf is really counter intuitive; you only have 16 aiming directions and need to hook or slice your shot to get finer than that. Also there's no such thing as rough, the O.B. line is often not actually at the tree line, and it's easy to overshoot chip shots so it's safer to putt on to the green

I would call Dark Arena one of the more competent GBA FPS games; though not as ambitious mechanically as Ecks VS Sever or its sequel, it achieved a less jerky frame rate and less messy architecture and texture work than some of its contemporaries, like Medal of Honor Underground.
