Half the fun of WoW Forever has been running around and enjoying all of the environmental updates. The water (especially at sunset), the volumetric fog, the gorgeous god rays. It's nice experiencing weather regularly again too. Rain in Duskwood and Tirisfal Glades feels so right.

Well, literature (as art and commerce) did a very good job expanding both who are writers and who are readers, and so dudes (especially straight white ones) compete in an industry where they are a market segment but not necessarily *the primary* market segment, and that fact freaks some of them out.

The image is of Anduin and Wrathion from World of Warcraft. It is a commission by @_son_kuro (on twitter) for @ClaretAsh.

The picture shows Wrathion and Anduin in a beautiful courtyard. The piece is reminiscent of the classical painting "A Lady's Favour" by Edmund Blair Leighton. Anduin wears his hair long and is dressed elegantly in a flowing shirt and gold-edged vest, with cream breeches and long brown boots. He leans over a balustrade to tie a red silk scarf, a favour around Wrathion's upper arm. Wrathion, with his back to the viewer, is on a white horse, holding his arm up for Anduin to do this.
