The long ones will be true AUs. The one I’m writing now is a Mail-Order Bride AU where farm”girl” Dennis marries Robby & doesn’t realize he’s trans til way after the fact, & the next one is a Dennis-is-Garron’s-age AU where Robby still meets him at 26 but it’s 9 years ago. And he’s a mechanic.

Today was like: 1800 words to finish fic #1, watching and reading things and gathering sources and drawing up an outline for story #2 but ultimately moving onto story #3, which got 700 words before I hit diminishing returns on today's endeavors. So now I'm going to retire with something to read.

I tried to resist the siren call of writing two long stories in a short period (the final day for posting is 10/31). I tried to figure out a way I could make story #2 short. But no. The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. I must, somehow, write both of these in the next 3 months.
