Genuine question, how do we feel about Star Trek Holodeck programs (and computer interactions in general) in the age of AI slop? Personally I’m conflicted.

Anyone know which Dungeon Crawler Carl t-shirts aren’t AI generated?

Police (and any law enforcement agency) should be banned from chasing criminals unless the public is in immediate danger. It’s dangerous to everyone involved.

Announcing RimWorld update 1.7! It moves the game from Unity to Waylith, our in-house engine, and runs 2-4x faster in our tests. Try it now on the unstable beta. Oh, and RimWorld isn’t the only game on Waylith... Read on Steam: store.steampowered.com/news/app/294100/view/672882362547178633

I hate how much of a game of chance it can be with Lyft. I wish the United States just had more trains and busses.

It’s really hard to buy t-shirts anymore. I got a Project Hail Mary shirt and after seeing it in person I’m like 80% certain it’s AI generated. 😩

This is my weekly "iOS 27 Siri is useless" post. I had my AirPods in and figured I could ask about a flight I am taking tomorrow and it can't answer any questions without unlocking... I am wearing an Apple Watch and I've had my AirPods in since I last unlocked, figure it out!

What I want from a MMORPG is adventure and discovery. What I get from modern MMORPGs is checklists and queues. It’s less like an adventure and more like going to a theme park. This is why I am excited about WoW forever.

I think people getting comfortable being abusive to anything, animate or inanimate, is not great.

It takes one person to make a PR, but three to merge it... You 🫵 should be reviewing more code.

I dunno, if I worked at a chemical plant and said there was a 10% chance that our product could end all life on earth in the next decade, there would be lots of investigations. 🤔

I watched the original 1931 Frankenstein movie with my family tonight. It's really strange seeing it for the first time after having seen Young Frankenstein like 100 times throughout the years. Now I can see that Mel Brooks really nailed the feel of the original.

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

They have the power to add any guidelines they want. Literally all the major AI execs could self regulate if they wanted to. No, this is more about shoring up against competition and fluffing stock prices with ridiculous claims about their product.

Mid 2020’s games will be remembered for the fuzzy appearance of dynamic resolution technology in the same way that late 2000’s games are remembered for being brown.

I tried KOReader again on my Kobo Libre Color, and was having fun with the customization. Then I picked it up after a couple days standby and the battery was completely dead. 💀 I really want to like this, but at the end of the day stock software + Calibre is good enough. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
