Due to a couple of unforced errors on my part, the charging cable on my laptop was running from the MagSafe port on the left to...the USB-C port on the right. Yes, my computer was trying to charge itself. If that had worked, it would have been quite the blow to the laws of physics.

Calling math language nerds! I have a question: Are there words for counting in a different base? For instance, fifty-three in Base 13 would be written as 41. Do we have words that say we’ve hit four iterations of 13, plus 1, rather than translating it into base 10 and saying “fifty-three”?
