Could it be...? (No, no it couldn't, but a guy can dream)
Speedball (of course)

Here: (Not really, I just thought of the joke and wanted to share…)
The puppet version of the redshirt who was shot in the torso and is missing a perfectly circular hole because of it, which a crudely drawn red arrow is pointing to. He is floating in space. Behind him are puppet versions of La’an and Una.

Thanks. I like to think I have my moments...
One of the most recent pictures of me, although that means it’s six years old (I just don’t take pictures or have pictures taken of me often, apparently). Looking at it as objectively as I can, it’s a decent picture of me, but all I see when I look at it is the nose messed up from a bike accident my sophomore year of high school. Completely destroys the symmetry.

Fun happenstance on my timeline... (Insert “They’re the same picture” meme here).
Top image posted by David Willis of “Dumbing of Age” appears to be a screenshot from a WB cartoon, with Elmer Fudd lying on a heart-shaped bed, wearing white long underwear and some slippers. Below that is a variant cover by Russell Dauterman of “Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane” (an upcoming solo title for MJ as I write this). Although it’s from a different angle, she is lying down in a fairly similar pose to Elmer.

Happy Birthday! I love Speedball. His visuals are awesome, his powers are potentially off the charts, and he takes everything in and keeps on going (we don’t talk about Penance). (Yes, this is my shoulder)

Yeah, I had the same reaction. It reminds me of the scene in No Way Home that had the other Spider-Men removed from the trailer.

Nope. Because I know. It was this guy. 15 years of sitting silently on top of my dresser next to an actual stereo, occasionally having the “tape eject” mechanism triggered then shut again, never once having a tape put inside of it. I’m sorry for what I did, Blaster. You deserved better.

Happy Birthday! I love Michael Whelan’s art on Isaac Asimov’s books, but Robots and Empire in particular gets to me, because it’s portraying a specific emotional moment in the book (despite being two robots who ostensibly have no emotions).
The original artwork for Isaac Asimov’s book Robots and Empire, art by Michael Whalen. Robots Daneel Olivaw (you can just see a little mechanical piece in the gap in the lower back of his shirt, but otherwise appears human) and Giskard Reventelov (the obviously mechanical being) are shaking hands. In the story, this is when they basically tell each other that they would die in the other’s place if necessary.

Anyone recognize this signature? It’s in my sketch/autograph book, and based on its location, I got it at SDCC 2007. I just misidentified it as Kurt Busiek’s and was corrected by Kurt himself, so that’s not it, but comic book/webcomic writer would not be unusual.
A signature in my autograph book of someone I’m apparently a fan of, but can’t recognize/interpret.

One of my prized possessions is a hand-drawn Storm by Peter David. And I believe that’s your signature just to the left of it in my autograph/sketch book. Would be happy to get a similar drawing from you one day…
Peter David’s signature next to a “Storm” which is a cloud, lightning bolt and some rain, drawn with the level of someone who has been writing for decades (note, not the level of someone who has been drawing for decades).99% sure this is Kurt Busiek’s signature. The beginning and ending K’s are fairly legible, and there’s a big B in the middle...

Usually I get Kermit, but taking it today, I got this, and am not unhappy.
An image of Gonzo the Muppet wearing pants that look like they were made from a greenish airport carpet, a yellow shirt with chili pepper printed all over it, and a black tie with large polka dots (so much so they dominate over the black background) in various colors. The text below reads:
"You are... Gonzo!
An absolute icon of style (I mean seriously, look at that fit), Gonzo is something of a mystery to the world around him.

All the same his bold, daring style makes him a valuable asset to The Muppet gang - as does his expert knowledge of A Christmas Carol."
