Latest opinion polling in Scotland has the SNP on 35% in the constituency vote, to Reform on 18%. In the regional list vote, it’s SNP on 28% and Reform on 17%. Rather different to the situation in England by any estimation. Or is it a coping mechanism to pretend Scotland is the same as England?

Same old M&S. My Dad started reading the Daily Mail years ago, as there was a voucher collection over a number of editions. Over time, it lead to his views being poisoned, which is typical of that paper. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest they advertise on GB News.

Very welcome news that unemployment in Scotland has fallen to 3.8% and is lower than the rest of the UK. Scotland’s economy has grown faster than the rest of the UK, but we need to do more to deliver growth and progress - I will be setting out views in a speech tomorrow.
