Just finished a liter of HC110 opened in 2020. May have turned a nice shade of brown, but the film didn't care.

#ShittyCameraChallenge #kodak35RF I took my Kodak 35 Rangefinder with a roll of FomaPan 100 to Garner, North Carolina on 30 September, for a day's shooting. There's a great coffee shop there. This copy has an Anastar (coated) 50mm f/3.5 lens. Additional details are in the Alt Text.

#ShittyCameraChallenge #Kiev88 I took my Kiev 88 with a 6 by 4.5 cm back using a Vega12b 90mm lens out shooting on 30 September 2026 in Garner North Carolina. The camera is bulky, but makes good photographs. Additional details in the Alt Text.

#ShittyCameraChallenge #ArgusC3 On Argust Day, a day when Argus camera fans make photographs with their Argus cameras, I took my C3 and a roll of Elektra 100 out. Amongst the double exposures, here are two photographs from Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh NC.
A sign saying 'PLAY' at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh North Carolina USA, close to a playground and picnicking area at the park..
I was taking my Argus C3 out on Argust Day to make some photos.

The photograph was taken with an Argus C3 on Flic Film Elektra 100, aka Kodak Aerocolor 35mm film. Probably at F18 at an indicated 1/100 second. A sign saying 'It Starts Here!' painted on the side of a building at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh North Carolina USA.

#believeinfilm - Disaster strikes I loaded my Leica IIc with a bulk loaded roll of FomaPan 100. After i buttoned up the camera, I found a plastic ring on the bedspread. The bottom of the bulk loaded cassette. I am interested in what light leaks I am going to see on the roll of film.
Leica IIc. top and bottom of a 35mm plastic film can, and the bottom of a reusable bulk loading 35mm cassette.
Since the bottom of the cassette fell off, the cassette is not light tight and the film is likely to have light leaks on it.
Yes, I shot it anyways.

#HFF #halfframefriday #believeinfilm #halfframe #OlympusPen This past week I took my Olympus Pen to Wilson North Carolina to make photographs of Vollis Simpson's 'whirligigs', kinetic sculptures he made of recycled materials. I used Kodak ProImage 100 film. More details in the Alt Text.

#believeinfilm #SHD50 I shot a short roll of SHD50 at an EI of 25 and developed it in HC110 to see how it developed. First pass, I think that 5 min in HC110 1:31 @ 5min is a good start. What was unexpected is that the color response is off and that contrast is high. Details in the alt-text. /1
This is SHD50, EI25 shot in a Nikon FM2 with a Nikon Series E 50mm f/1.8. Shutter was 1/200, XSync setting, and aperture was f/5.6. The photographs were taken on a bright sunny day.
Film was developed in HC110, diluted 1:31 for 5 minutes at about 21C.
This is a negative, it has not been processed to positive.
Two things strike me, 1) The big white rectangle on the left side of the photograph is a gray card. It looks the same as the black square in the bottom left of the color patches on the right side of the image.
2) Red, Green, and Blue patches on the right colunm of the color patches are all very light. This is a color photograph of the test subject for reference.
This photograph was taken with a Pixel 7 'smart' phone.

#photochat - A4 - I share work here on BlueSky, and sometimes in Facebook. I have a Flickr account, but don't market it. I am working on a NeoCities website, but it is no where ready for any guests.
