Just finished a liter of HC110 opened in 2020. May have turned a nice shade of brown, but the film didn't care.

C41 isn’t hard to do at home. The biggest issue is that the chemistry has a short shelf life when mixed.

#ShittyCameraChallenge #kodak35RF I took my Kodak 35 Rangefinder with a roll of FomaPan 100 to Garner, North Carolina on 30 September, for a day's shooting. There's a great coffee shop there. This copy has an Anastar (coated) 50mm f/3.5 lens. Additional details are in the Alt Text.
'Freight Door' This freight door hasn't been opened for awhile. I made the photograph using my Kodak 35 Rangefinder on FomaPan 100 film in Garner, North Carolina. The lens is a Anastar (coated) 50mm f/3.5, a front focusing 4 element lens. The film was developed using HC110 dilution B for 6 minutes. 'Lunch Tables' The three tables are outside of the downtown Garner, North Carolina coffee shop. Terri and I have had several lunches sitting there. #ShittyCameraChallenge #Kiev88 I took my Kiev 88 with a 6 by 4.5 cm back using a Vega12b 90mm lens out shooting on 30 September 2026 in Garner North Carolina. The camera is bulky, but makes good photographs. Additional details in the Alt Text.
'Bridgers Coal Yard'. Coal has been sold from that location in Wendell, North Carolina for over a 100 years.
I made the photograph with my Kiev 88, a Ukrainian manufactured 120 6cm square SLR. For these pictures I used a 6 by 4.5cm back. The lens was a Vega 12B 90mm f2.8 lens for the shoot. The film is the original Harman Phoenix 200 shot at an EI of 125 for the day's shooting.
The camera's nickname is “Hasselbladski” as it was based on the Hasselblad 1600 F, complete with the touchy focal plane shutter. The camera was made by Arsenal in Kyiv Ukraine.'Wreath' I liked how the wreath stands out against the dark door and window.

Phil, Thank you. I am going to try to repair the camera. The shutter mechanism looks very similar to Soviet rangefinder cameras so I should be able to find suggestions. And if not, I’ll compose square compositions using the left side of the view finder.

#shittycamerachallenge #ZenitTTL #believeinfilm Went out shooting with my Zenit TTL with Lomo 400 Color film. However heartbreak was to come, close to the end of the roll, the second shutter curtain stopped closing. FSU Heartbreak. Details about the photographs are in the AltText

As for combining film photography and painting, take a print from a film negative, attach it to the center of a canvas, and create something around it. Concept taken from the fancy embossed frames around c. 1900 prints.

#ShittyCameraChallenge #ArgusC3 On Argust Day, a day when Argus camera fans make photographs with their Argus cameras, I took my C3 and a roll of Elektra 100 out. Amongst the double exposures, here are two photographs from Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh NC.
A sign saying 'PLAY' at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh North Carolina USA, close to a playground and picnicking area at the park..
I was taking my Argus C3 out on Argust Day to make some photos.
'Argust Day' is a day in August when the day matches the year. So in 2026, Argust Day was the 26th.
The photograph was taken with an Argus C3 on Flic Film Elektra 100, aka Kodak Aerocolor 35mm film. Probably at F18 at an indicated 1/100 second. A sign saying 'It Starts Here!' painted on the side of a building at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh North Carolina USA.
