Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 5hThere’s nothing in this speech at all. Nothing. Same old bollocks they always trot out. Same old failed ideas, same slogans, same shit different day. Don’t waste your time listening to this nonsense. It’ll be forgotten as soon as she finishes if not before. 010
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 5hShe’s just making numbers up now, but it is a policy, of sorts. Something, something, something 50% of ‘savings’ to pay off debt. £37b apparently. Who knew? 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 5hDebt interest now. You know the debt they ran up when they gave all our money to their mates. Still no policies. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 5hThey get a good kicking. She’s got a bit of selective amnesia when it comes to racism in the Tory party. Still it’s good to hear her condemn it for once. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 6hShe swerved directly mentioning Thatcher. It’s so weirdly paced. No policy ideas so far. She’s on to Reform now. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 6hThis really is shit. Boilerplate nonsense. I bet 2/3rds of this was written by AI. No substance to it at all. She’s just pulled the Corbin lever. She’s got nothing to say about anything. #kemi 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 6hThe audience are clearly on psychedelics. There can’t be any other explanation for their response to the words Kemi is saying. #kemi 130

Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 8h@lloydcole.bsky.social I’ve been meaning to say this since 1984, thanks for Rattlesnakes. It sounds as bright and fresh today as it did then, and it still makes me want to immediately move to Paris, smoke Gauloises, drink cheap wine, and mooch around the 18e with a thin volume of poetry under my armopen.spotify.comRattlesnakes - Album by Lloyd Cole and the Commotions | SpotifyLloyd Cole and the Commotions · album · 1984 · 14 songs 041

Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 19hThis is what actual food looks like. I know it’s confusing as it’s not huge, full of bloody dead rancid cow, or botulism. You should try it sometime, you might not die from hardened arteries, microplastics or RFK jnr’s unfounded science denial. Just a suggestion. Have a nice day. 330

Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026Thanks, you too. I’m on a lot of waiting lists. Hopefully, something will come of it all. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026Blimey. I just looked that up. I’ve got AF and a fast heart beat. I also had cancer last year which has made it all worse. I’ve got quite a few of the other symptoms too. I’ll mention it to my doctor next time I see her. Thanks for that, very helpful. I hope you get some relief too! 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026Yes, my internal one. It’s all over the place. Generally it’s the exact opposite of the prevailing weather conditions x10. Is there a cure, because I’d take it, whatever it is. 110

Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026There is literally no point having a topical phone in show on @bbc5live.bsky.social They both sides EVERYTHING. It’s utterly pointless and unlistenable. Campbell stealing a living. It must be boring for him. Year after year of the same words pointlessly spoken. 020
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026We’ve just about recovered from the tyranny of the hotel restaurant (their review will be one for the ages). I have been parked in a bar. Equilibrium has been restored ❤️ #greece #kos I’ve also come up with a new metaphor: More obstacles than a Greek pavement 000
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026The only dome the Tories are building is Kemi’s Dome of Delusion. Someone needs to take a step back and look objectively at the policies they’re throwing out. Tax breaks for the well off, crackers ideas about defence, dismantling the welfare state. Kemi, put down your phone and go outside. 150
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026Chris Philip, so empty that a vacuum would rush to fill him. 020
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026It appears not. And what’s worse there doesn’t seem to be any prospect of anyone emerging who’s better than the current baseline of Chris Philp. And when I say baseline I mean a hole so deep and blind, that magma roils at the bottom of it. 000
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026Small minded pointless dogma from the Tories. Not a huge surprise as Badenoch drives them back to the 70’s. Are there any intelligent conservatives left? 141
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026Maybe, but on this occasion, the meal I’d paid for, in the hotel I’d paid for, and the drink I’d paid for shouldn’t have lead to the waiting staff trying to take the drink I’d paid for away from me while I was trying to eat the meal I’d paid for. They seem to have forgotten I’m a paying guest. 000
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026We’ve been told off so many times for minor infringements of their rules that it’s in danger of spoiling and otherwise nice break. No one wins when they insist on enforcing pointless rules. You can laugh them off until you get to the point where they’re almost snatching your glass out of your hand. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026The hotel we’re staying in is generally OK, but they have some infuriating, arbitrary rules. You can’t take drinks you bought in their bar into their restaurant. If there’s one thing guaranteed to make me really unhappy it’s bar fuckery. 100
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026That journey was hideous wasn’t it? This was in the mid 80’s. They changed the engine from electric to diesel halfway through irrc. It took hours. I had a long walk at the Manc end too. I did get in to the poly though, the next time I went. I’ve always checked dates very carefully after that. 010
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026I was really skint and the interview was for North East London Poly. I walked from West Ham Station to the old cigarette factory that was part of the campus in Stratford High Street. It was a hot day too. I just turned round and went home. 110
Tony @tony.eurosky.social · 05/10/2026I turned up a month early to an interview once. I’d travelled from Manchester to London. That wasn’t a brilliant day. 110
