On this day in 1947, Ken Dryden was born in Hamilton.
In his Hall of Fame career, he won six Stanley Cups, five Vezinas, the Calder and the Conn Smythe. An acclaimed writer, he also served in Parliament from 2004 to 2011.
He died in 2025.
