It really sucks to be working 100 hour weeks and still not have money to pay the phone, internet, or power bill. I hate doing this, but if you have literally anything to spare I'm desperate at this point venmo.com/u/watzon2

I learned recently that one of the major reasons the employment market for developers is in such upheaval is because of all of these outfits that are trying to hire engineers just to be a face while they do all the coding much cheaper in the background.

watzon @watzon.tech · 05/09/2025

I know this is a tired question, but who is actually hiring software engineers right now?

I'm curious, how many home/cottage bakers are here on Bluesky? Sound off. #homebaker #cottagebaker #cottagelaw #baker

Who out there is actually hiring engineers? And possibly more important, how would you recommend actually getting eyes on my application and not getting lost in the shuffle as one of 5k applicants? I'm a senior engineer with 14 years of experience and finding a job has been almost impossible.

Trump and the GOP just signed a death sentence for potentially millions of Americans. Let that sink in.

You know what I love about #3dprinting? I can decide that I want to print Obi-wan’s lightsaber, and have it in less than a day. I have the fucking high ground.

I think it's important for people to realize that there are a lot of reasons Trump is doing this, and one of them is a loyalty litmus test. He's seeing just how insane he can be and keep his followers. #politics #uspol #trump

Listen, you don't have to use AI in your workflow. But if you're going around being an asshole on the internet to people who are, you are in the wrong. Especially when those people are just trying to build a business from the ground up and can't afford to pay a graphic designer. #AI #Opinion

I like to think I'm fairly up to date with current technology trends, so I started trying #vibecoding before there was even a term for it. And you know what? The results are pretty much garbage, which is why my perfectionist ass hasn't put out anything built with it.

@dharam.bsky.social loving your Funnel app! I have 2 requests for destination services that would really take it over the top though. 1. Paperless NGX 2. Hoarder It would be so nice to be able to use it as a document scanner for paperless especially.

This is cursed, but I love it `inxi -Fxxc0z | goshot --to-stdout | curl -F "file=@-" -F "filename=inxi.png" 0x45.st/p` Pipes the output of inxi to goshot to create a screenshot, then sends that to 0x45 (my paste/file bin). The result: 0x45.st/p/PJxLKw7L.png
