Please clap. I feel like I’ve been going soft so I increased my dumbbell weight for my body sculpt classes to 10-lb and 15-lb, from 8 and 12. I can feel it. Also upped my creatine from 3-4 g to 5 g. I miss having a trainer.

My 98-year-old dad with CHF and COPD has decided to go into hospice care. We meet with the hospice people tomorrow to decide next steps. I am grateful that he has the presence of mind to make this decision on his own, and that we know in advance, but it's definitely the end of an era.

I just got home. I have spent 24 of the last 36 days at my dad’s in order to manage his care, with 3 nights for a quick trip to Chicago. Which means I have spent exactly 9 nights of the last 36 in my own place. He is safe but I still worry about him. OTOH I am so grateful to be home. For now.

Haven’t skeeted much b/c I’ve been super busy w/ v elderly dad in hospital whilst doing regular job but I’m finally home after 11 days. I have to go back when he gets out of rehab but the break is nice. He is receiving xlnt care. Figuring out how to mage the best of my time - recharge AND go hard.
