Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.

Qualitative capture - being able to capture, describe, + communicate the (social, cultural, organisational, relational, geographical, etc.) context of the research. Its essential for communicating all research but is at best underdeveloped, at worst ignored by #researchers and in methods training.

Bizarre that effective altruism is being discussed again. A simple objection is that it depends on calculation of consequences, which relies on mapping out possibilities, determining their probabilities, and their outcomes. Margin for error is so large EA can be made to justify pretty much anything.

Very cool people scoffing at all the Mackelmore stuff but I want to always hold space for the fact that music can change the world. Music and sport really did help bring down apartheid, and almost every generation last century had a movement for change that had a strong cultural element.
