I was kind of nervous about this. Wish that spurs game had been after arsenal's. Feels like collectively we were a bit too over the top mocking other teams before we'd played our toughest game of the season.

Yeah for the Nets I was definitely excluding the ABA there, so Dr J definitely becomes relevant with the ABA era. Toronto is a funny one with the best season by a player clearly being Kawhi but that was so short lived. Skeets from No Dunks says Lowry is the greatest Raptor of all time.

Kareem I actually think had more team success than Giannis over a decent window (like 6-7 seasons?) and if I have heard basketball historians correctly was just generally understood to be the most dominant force in basketball in the early 70s. Giannis was a top 5 player for a few years but not that.

Ha, yeah, Dwight is gonna be a funny one historically. He gets less respect than he should mostly because no one liked him. Clyde vs Dame I went with Dame because I think he had more All NBA nods and a few awesome playoff moments that I don't recall Clyde having although Clyde did make a Finals.

Respect the take but I gotta disagree. Flopping is a problem for me in the NBA. But it is hard to referee in the moment and I don't want them doing more reviews during games so I would personally want to see some kind of review and punishment after games. They used to fine players but NBPA liked it.

Is there a way to allow for being more strict with calls both ways but the penalty for a defensive foul is not a penalty kick? Not sure what. A free kick closer in than a corner but still outside the box? Just makin shit up but if they really want to solve it someone wil have to think of something.

That feels like a bit of a leap to me. An understandable leap to be sure given the state of other sports, but I don't think a guaranteed one. I'm not suggesting time outs, just stopping the clock until players get up or the ball is put back in play.

Probably true, especially for teams with big changes. And teams always ebb and flow through the long season. I'm confident the Rockets will turn it around, but it certainly is rough, ugly sledding at the moment.
