That is incredible and thank you so much for finding that! I'm a touch sad that I installed the heat pump and electrical panel upgrade in 2024, looks like I missed out on some savings but it's okay. I've still got plenty to do, like the insulation.

@jlev.online Hey Josh! Our house was built in 1928. I would like to air seal the walls (already did the attic) - removing the plaster walls isn't an option for us. What are your thoughts on injecting foam into the walls to air seal and insulate?

Drive one today. Rides like a cloud. Which is to say it's very comfortable and with great fit and finish, light years ahead of my 2019 Tesla, but it doesn't handle very well. Too much of that cloud like feel. It'll be perfect for some people though!

To be clear, I know that isn't logical. Logically we should both own 2012 Nissan Leafs and be fine. But the emotional component overrules logic sometimes and that's why I suspect having charging stations everywhere would help the majority adopt EVs.

It's not that we *use* the fast chargers as much as we want to own a car that *could* if we needed it to. We literally do one road trip a year and that's enough for us both to agree we need access to the best charging network out there.

Yup that's SB. :) The charging stations are psychological. I'm on my fourth EV, hardly drive (WFH full time) and my wife drives 5 miles each way to work and back. We barely put miles on our cars and yet, neither would buy an EV that doesn't connect to the supercharger network.

Thank you for your responses! I have not ordered any hardware; still prepping the house. Something I don't understand; just because a unit advertises it can work in -10°, does that guarantee it won't use its heat strips? Seems like the goal is to buy an HP which barely needs backup heat (1/2)
