Yeah sure, if you see this (god I am posting this early in the AMs..) toss me 6 characters. I'll choose the ones I like and draw fanart of them on my own time as I feel like it

mind boggling that I clocked 34 hours on-shift @ Furlandia. Morbidly curious what I clocked at Get Out the Float, but I know it was likewise ~30 😵‍💫

We need to support Furaffinity. Love it or hate it, it's the largest and most significant website for the furry fandom. If we lose it, it's actually a bigger deal than you realize.

If you need to explain to someone why the ‘Rogue AI’ framing is both wrong and harmful, actually blocking our view of what safety and responsibility requires in AI, this will help:

STILL wild to me that in January I'll coming up on 10 years in a happy and loving long-term relationship with two cute dudes. And a few weeks after that it'll be 9 with another partner! and this month it'll be the 1 year anniversary with another!

it's just awful. every side of it is awful. friends who were victims of assault triggered by the threat of someone weaponizing their story against their will. friends who've suffered spurious/malicious callouts triggered by the threat that they will never be better than their worst (alleged) moment.

There's no such thing as a "good furry" to them. No amount of "cleaning up the fandom" will prevent harassment, especially when any open expression of being queer is seen as "mental illness". The infighting needs to stop immediately. We're all evil in the eyes of the potato.

This Tommy Tuberville thing is important because it's a bizarre claim with a lot of attention to a totally random thing about the fandom, nowhere near the spooky scary lewd stuff people clutch their pearls over. Ideally, this should be a wake up call for people.

just heard the term via last repost "Difference in Sex Development" (DSD) and uh, wow. it feels. A LOT less stressful and more open-ended to use. It isn't intersexist, it doesn't prompt the same invasive questions in theory.. I like it a lot I think.

Furbanism is very real

“Still, the question remains: Why does there appear to be so much crossover between the furry community and those who work in the friendly skies? Generally speaking, there is an “overlap between furries and transit nerds,” says Patch O’Furr, the editor-in-chief of the furry fandom publication Dogpatch Press. “It's a meta fandom full of roleplay so imaginative that it goes beyond species, so you get lots of people with intense special interests.””
