The first time I heard this song was in Dolly's (criminally overlooked) film STRAIGHT TALK, and its simple, straightforward optimism at times of the deepest, darkest despair left a lasting impression on me...

I fully agree, also I think it quickly becomes a disparity issue - kids who don't have an adult at home who can help them with homework in the evenings (for whatever reason) can quickly fall behind in class because they don't get that extra practice at home/aren't getting points toward their grade.

I started reading a book today with a pandemic in it and I had to sit there staring off into space for a few minutes like "huh, I have some unprocessed feelings here."

Chat gpt is not reliable as a search engine or as a research tool. It's a predictive text machine. It can guess correctly but it doesn't know anything.

I could make a case for Lydia being a Warlock or a even a Bard (give her a couple years and her outgoing-ness might translate into a more natural charisma). I think Jane could be a Druid or a Paladin? Kitty I would make a Warlock because she'd absolutely make a deity pact so she could go to Bath.

As with some other things, i suspect if we have another dem president we will discover that the court did not so much transfer power to the executive as to themselves, ie they will find novel bullshit reasons to block a dem president the same way the find novel bullshit reasons to enable trump

WELCOME TO WASHINGTON, SOCCER FANS. Get acquainted with our state via this highly accurate and mostly-to-scale map.
A hot mess of colorful scribbles all over a map of Washington, featuring doodles of iconic Washington features like mountains, orcas, ferries, cherries, onions, and other produce. The map emphasizes the busyness of the Seattle area, I-5, I-90, US 2, and the U.S./Canada border during the World Cup games.

The idea that LLMs 'hallucinate' is itself a clever invention of the tech industry to disguise actual failures of their systems. Rebranding these serious algorithmic glitches as 'hallucinations' was designed to make the public accept this bullshit by linking it to the vagaries of human psychology.
