Missy passed away yesterday. Here is my favorite memory of her: youtu.be/G3YlP6A9LC8?... It is a sad #caturday without a kitty licking your elbow at 5am.

Sexy Beast. A gorgeous Grey-headed Flying Fox roosts amongst its fellow campers, Yarra Bend, Melbourne, Australia. #alphabetchallenge #WeekFForFilms #eastcoastkin #westcoastkin #photography #photographersunited #photographersofbluesky #flyingfox #bats #australia #sexybeast #fruitbat

Photo turned right side up of a large roosting fruit bat who looks directly into the lens. The Flying Fox wraps its black wings around itself enveloping the soft front. The bat has a face very similar to an actual fox with large dark brown eyes and snout, a grey-black face, rusty red front and shoulders, and dominant grey fluffy hair over the remaining parts of its body. The black ears are relatively small and hairless and resemble those of a cat. The Flying Fox feeds at night and is solely a fruit bat—and is revered as one of the most important pollinators in Australia.

Apparently today is World Embroidery Day! So please enjoy my version of the Wonders of the Night Sky, cross stitch and embroidery on navy Aida fabric, pattern by Climbing Goat Designs 🧶 🔭

A large stitched piece is matted in blue edged in gold and framed with brown wood. The fabric of the piece is navy blue, slightly darker than the mat, and the design is the celestial sky with 88 constellations, stitched in pale yellow, pale blue, and white. The phases of the moon are depicted in the corners, and Saturn, a comet, and various stars decorate the in-between space.

Two cats are better than one. Three cats, though? That's the best. #Caturday #CatsOfBluesky

Two cats sleeping. On the left, a black cat curled up on top of a gray cat tower, paws out in front of her face, tail hanging over the edge out of sight. On the right, a tortoiseshell cat curled up atop a multi-colored blanket. Her right paw is over her mouth and nose.

A long haired Maine coon mix sleeping on a wooden bookshelf. It's the bottom shelf, atop a multi-colored mini blanket in blues and purples. The cat's head is in the right corner, and her back paws and tail are spilling out onto the desktop.

A Twelve-spotted Skimmer Dragonfly perches on a plant stem.

The twelve-spotted skimmer (Libellula pulchella) is a common North American dragonfly found in southern Canada and all 48 contiguous U.S. states. Male twelve-spotted skimmers are known for their striking appearance, with a pattern of twelve dark spots on their translucent wings. The wings also feature eight white spots, with two spots on each wing. The male has a white abdomen, while the female has yellow stripes down the abdomen and faded white marks on the wings.

You know that sun-glass wearing woman who makes tiktoks filming how long it takes her to *actually* complete a task she's been putting off? One hour and 40 mins in of cleaning out these doom-drawers. I am completely overwhelmed and giving up. Even with Cupcake's help.

A three-drawer desk cabinet. Bottom drawer is open and stuffed full of junk. On top are piles of "keep" stuff taken out of the drawers. A garbage bag full of disposed junk sits on a chair next to the drawers. The head of a cat is seen peering into the open drawer, anxious to help or hinder.
