The draw_boxplots() function in this post is similar in spirit to the plot_r() function from the 10-year-old post "What data patterns can lie behind a correlation coefficient?". Both allow you to create random Anscombe-like lineups that highlight the need for plotting your data. #rstats
Sixteen scatterplots with wildly different patterns that all show 50 observations of two variables correlated at r = 0.5.

New version of the tourr package is available on CRAN cran.r-project.org/web/packages... #rstats main changes in little tour operations to be used with a project on preferential voting vis, and connecting with biplots. Plus lots more documentation thanks to Claude

I appreciate the post, Mans, and hope this leads to fixes. I do like using tidy models in teaching because it coordinates the vast disparities in different machine learning software. It helps the students better see similarities and differences.
