I could do this all day, but you get the point(s). Trust in higher ed ≠ trust in Ivy Leagues. Budgets are moral documents and if you want to examine trust in higher ed, look at how states prioritize public higher education.

As a survivor reading between the lines of this very carefully written story it sounds like Jonathan McKinsey was a trans man in an abusive and controlling marriage who was targeted for violence repeatedly by his ex-wife and her parents and eventually murdered. But as a reporter? I can't be sure.

Not sure that “this pregnant woman was handcuffed in front of her toddler for failure to appear in court which stemmed from efforts to collect a debt, and not from the debt itself” is such a great defense but if you have no other ideas, why not?

Marshall's lawyers took issue with three facets of the ad. They said Zimmerman wasn't arrested for a missed payment but, instead, for failing to appear in court. They said the campaign ad frames the premise of the arrest on a $50 bill rather than the sum of Zimmerman's debts. They said the arrest wasn't a surprise, arguing that court records show Zimmerman "was called to court in three different counties by eight different businesses over a multi-year period, including by a different hospital and in an eviction proceeding."

Well there's a drone shot overhead every time I step out my front door. I can hear the thing. The whirring of it. I can’t see it but you can suppose the shot they're getting is real symmetrical. Not like Wes Anderson no. How they fly over the pacific northwest and there’s a road going through all the trees. One lonesome little car winding along down in there. Everyone all goofing around in the car. Except for one of them maybe who senses something is off. A pretty young girl. Maybe her mother is sick. And so she’s stressed out about that. Naturally. Exact age that no one would be mad at you for thinking about her in a certain way. Let’s say thirty three. Heading to a vacation cabin or a big beautiful house on the ocean. No one around for miles and miles. No reception on the phones either. That’s how they get you. How they make it so the phones aren’t a solution. It would be too easy otherwise. Boop boop beep. Then the cops are there. Now picture the gal with blood all on her face. Running around in the woods.

Also they let the Catholics get too much power. They should never have let that happen.
