this is what they should put on the book covers now

Book cover to The Murderbot Diaries: Platform Decay by Martha Wells. The original endorsement has been removed and replaced in the same style with "I still fucking love Murderbot!" attributed to Ann Leckie

The duality of my writing is. Okay so my first WIP is side order angst and the second (not splat) is a freakin. Scooby Doo fusion? Where the students are trying to find out what’s wrong with their professor, its fuckass spouse, and the creepy ship they’re on (the spouse *is* the ship, btw)

Side Order wouldn't exist in-universe if not for Marina's passion for the world around her. No matter how much the Spire of Order is presented as a perfect, emotionless machine that can carry out duties efficiently, you can always find cracks of humanity if you look close enough.

SNORT I got so distracted and busy, just realized I never posted this one to bsky. Here you go pearlinas, something to nibble on during the drought #pearlina #splatoon

A digital, colored drawing of Pearl Houzuki and Marina Ida from the game series Splatoon. Marina is kneeling at a 3/4 view towards the viewer, hands draped on Pearl’s shoulders and head tilted downward with her eyes closed. Pearl has her back to the viewer, Head tilted up to meet Marina’s but with her face obscured by her tentacles. She sits between Marina’s thighs, both her legs pushed to the side over Marina’s left thigh. The drawing hints at them kissing, with a small heart doodled to the left of their heads. One of Marina’s tentacles clings onto Pearl’s lower back, while Pearl’s arms wrap around Marina’s.

Marina’s wearing Pearl’s black hoodie from the Suffer No Fools music video, and dark grey sweatpants.
Pearl wears a loose off-white shirt that has a bright-gold gradient at the bottom hem, and gold-colored hem sleeves. It fades from bottom to top into little stars.
Her shorts reach to her mid thigh, and are a warm light grey. She can be seen wearing holo platform shoes, similar if not identical to those in her Octo Expansion DLC outfit.

End of description.

Summer Nights drawing from last year! #splatoon #splatoonart #summernights (fun fact, this was colored entirely using the lasso tool)

A digital drawing of all three Splatoon idol groups wearing their Summer Nights fest outfits. In the top left, Callie and Marie are standing at their fest stage. Callie is striking a pose with her arm up, while Marie waves toward the viewer. In the top right, Pearl and Marina are striking their signature Off the Hook pose; in the background, a view of Inkopolis at night. At the bottom, Deep Cut stands together. Frye is waving to the audience, Shiver is holding up her fan with one leg crossed over the other and smiling towards Frye, and Big Man stands with his arms outstretched. In the background, monstera leaves are visible. The drawing has been colored using the lasso tool, so the colors have defined boundaries.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SIDE ORDER 🔥 - 🎨 #splatoon #splatoonart #pearlina - (Inspo linked below)

Artwork of an alternate design of Marina Agitando taking inspiration from multiple concept artworks and a humanoid Pearldrone with pink and blue lighting in a diamond shaped frame. The two are looking at each other as Marina holds Pearl’s crown and wires from a missing arm in her right hand and Pearl’s face with her left, which Pearl is holding onto with her left arm. Heavily inspired by one of Dana Terrace’s artworks for Knights of Guinevere.
