I wish all of my friends would start substacks and I can return to my livejournal days, just connecting with people that I care about through weird musings, disenfranchised essays and terrible art.

Lately my kpop bar is pretty low. If the stylists put them in just one belt, it's a win.

hey for anyone who might want to actually own their kindle books instead of renting them, or who might be thinking of switching to kobo etc and will want to convert them to epubs, you now only have one week before amazon kills your ability to download its ebooks www.theverge.com/news/612898/...

theverge.com

Amazon’s killing a feature that let you download and backup Kindle books

It’s bad if you like to keep ebook backup copies.

Somebody needs to tell all kpop idols to be careful what US Musicians they get photographed with (or collab with) for the next year. We are going to be shocked how many people come out attached to PDiddy. *cough, cough DJ Kahled and Usher*

The original Beetlejuice story idea was so much darker than the original Tim Burton film. It was based off the idea "what if ghosts live in a house but they aren't evil and it's the actual humans who are the evil ones." I would like to see that movie.

If Taeil was kicked out immediately from the group this fast, the situation must be huge considering there's not even ONE rumor yet a statement is already out while he's under investigation.

Evidently my #romanempire lately has been how incredible WRONG Google AI is. Here is today's search. For the record. Japan is a motherfucking island. It shares zero land borders and if the AI is confusing maritime borders, there are more than just those two. #googleaifails #googleai

Today the Alabama Supreme Court made IVF essentially illegal by declaring un-implanted embryos “human children.” What happens in a red state never stays in a red state (see: the Dobbs decision that started in MS) - we can’t ignore these places.

Months now into Generation 5 of K-Pop and the themes seem to include focusing on personality over visuals, clean synchronized dancing and songs that go very hard with heavy beats. Not complaining. Nobody has blown me away quite as much as Xikers but I am ready.
