Hey @johnmu.com funny SEO question 😄 I changed my site’s favicon but haven’t requested a recrawl yet. The page still shows as not crawled, but when I search while logged into Google, I already see the new favicon. In Incognito, the same query still shows the old favicon.

Google shows AI Overview impressions.
It hides everything else. So I built a free Chrome extension that puts your AI Overview impressions alongside your core GSC metrics—all in one place. 📊 If you have AI Overview access, give it a try and let me know your feedback. 👇

Hi @johnmu.com I've got access on several properties and spent hours digging through the report. Honestly, I'm struggling to find any actionable insight from this Impression data. We can see only impression numbers, but not why they're happening.

Something seems broken in the GSC External Links report. I checked multiple properties and all show the same issue: backlinks dropped to nearly 1/3 of previous counts, and rows per page only shows ~25 links. Looks like a possible reporting bug. @johnmu.com CC:- @rustybrick.com

Hey @johnmu.com GSC data hasn’t updated for 5 days (last showing March 14). I know delays of 2–3 days are normal, but this is longer and happening across all the properties. Is this normal? CC:- @rustybrick.com @glenngabe.bsky.social

Grounding via Search can have a big impact. Here's a great ex of ChatGPT providing the WRONG answer (mostly) when not using web search to ground the response. When I selected web search, the answer was correct, and spot-on. The first 2 screenshots are w/out web search & the last one is w/web search.

Hi @johnmu.com l’ve noticed a big drop (around 75%) in external links count after the dec core update, mainly on sites that were keep declining after the dec core update. Could Google be cleaning up backlinks for these pages? Just curious if you can share your thoughts on this. @rustybrick.com
