I think How to Keep House While Drowning is a nice little booklet to help with some down-to-basics strats on just trying to get through life I think it reads well as a quick guide over a cover-to-cover read. Even if you're not 'struggling', I'm pretty sure anyone can get something from this book

My wife suggested I read Birth Vibes since our 3rd little one was on their way Not her first pregnancy but still a helpful book (especially since we never did a non-pandemic birth). It was chill & vibes were reassuring— author is super fun & puts you in a good headspace :D

Scream with Me was another read w/ a friend Interesting book but don't know if I completely agree with idea that the horror movies were necessarily inspired the movie, the set of movies discussed do seem to have at least hit the public consciousness during the same time as related social issues

Technically, I was rereading The Martian but this time I did it with a friend for our mini 'book club'. This was after watching the movie (read it back in May) & I feel that the book, the audiobook, & the movie are all great in their own special ways :D

Catching up on my reading log…. Back in April, read Shady Characters which was a fun little vacation read about punctuation. I think the ☞ manicule might be my new favorite

Oh I like this idea— something that doesn't give an explicit 'probability' of being AI-written (what's an individual's threshold with an arbitrary probability?), but points to the smells It's not going to be perfect but puts power in the human to decide (not just another algorithm to blindly trust)

Most days peak between 77°F and 85°F in the late afternoon or evening before dropping at night. The highest recorded temperature is on 08/11 (green line), peaking near 88°F around 8:00 PM before a steep drop. Notable sudden midday or evening drops and rebounds appear across several dates (such as sharp dips on 08/09, 08/10, 08/13, and 08/14).

The official home of the Python Programming Language

This is a candidate preview of Python 3.15

This release, 3.15.0rc1, is the first of two planned candidate releases. Entering the release candidate phase, only reviewed code changes which are clear bug fixes are allowed between this release candidate and the final release.

The next release of Python 3.15 will be 3.15.0rc2, scheduled for 2026-09-01.

There will be no ABI changes from this point forward in the 3.15 series, and the goal is that there will be as few code changes as possible.

Call to action
We strongly encourage maintainers of third-party Python projects to prepare their projects for 3.15 during this phase, and publish Python 3.15 wheels on PyPI to be ready for the final release of 3.15.0, and to help other projects do their own testing. Any binary wheels built against Python 3.15.0 release candidates will work with future versions of Python 3.15. As always, report any issues to the Python bug tracker.

Please keep in mind that this is a preview release and while it’s as close to the final release as we can get it, its use is not recommended for production environments.
