I just went partying in Spain for the first time today and learned that they do not give a shit about their hearing 😳 I didn't even know my watch could show 110 dB of volume, but in this one club, several drops went up to that level. Even with earplugs it's loud as shit, wtf :D

I think ideally it would either be: A) Something you turn ON manually for specific players (persistent) or B) ON by default but with a cooldown, a low ingame volume, , with a toggle to switch off for certain users (or all together for everyone), and with a soft sound so it doesnt become annoying

So @vic378.bsky.social is doing something i havent seen before; whenever he types he is making animal crossing sounds ingame, using some OSC black magic. Now whenever he types, i can hear it and look in the direction and read. Its some really smart mute technology
