My understanding: people give the US money for bonds. We later pay them back more money. The interest rate has historically been low because the USD is very stable. The fact that the interest rate is getting higher means that we have to give those people more incentive to loan us money

Yeah I've needed to find a lot of doctors in the past year because I put off dealing with my health for too long and my insurance's website has been wildly wrong about who takes my insurance and is accepting patients
