This is the thread for my minicomic, Into the Bladelands! I will be posting updates of anywhere from 2-4 pages here, hopefully to be finished before the end of the year. Sky disappears. Ari gets left behind. Five years later, the door to the Bladelands opens again.

Ari (vo): When I was sixteen, my best friend disappeared. We grew up together in the woods between our houses. Sky could have fun no matter what.
Sky: Pick up your sword and fith me like a man!
Ari: Wait for me!
Ari (vo): My favorite thing to do was just live in his world.
Bully: Whatcha drawin, faggots? The map to your honeymoon?
Sky punches him. Later, Ari tends to his wounds.
Sky: You probably think I'm really stupid.
Ari: I just think you're really brave.
They kiss.
Sky: We can't tell anyone about this, okay?
Ari: Yeah, of course.

A couple years pass. Sky and Ari are looking at the stars.
Sky: Y'know, I think about it all the time.
Ari: What we've been doing?
Sky: No, man, the Bladelands! We'd run shit over there. Be warriors or kings or whatever.
Ari: Heh, too bad it's not real.
Sky: well, it could be.
Ari: Dude.
Sky: I'm just saying! Maybe we were picking up a signal or something. Like a radio station from another state, but with dragons. It feels like that sometimes. Y'know, I turn 17 tomorrow. And I'm starting to freak out a little because, like, this is it? I thought I could be more than this.
Ari: Hey, you can be! When we're 18, we can get out of here. We'll move to the city. Together.
Sky: I guess... it still just all feels so small. At least in the Bladelands, there's magic. And prophecy, and swords, and danger. You can be an adventurer. You can at least be, like, an important person.
Ari: You're important, Sky. You're important to me.
Sky: Heh. Gayyy.
Ari: Shut up.
Ari (VO): That was the last night I ever saw him.
Ari walks away. Sky spots a mysterious portal behind a tree and reaches out to it.

Ari (Vo): The next day, he was gone.
We see a montage of Ari's lonely life. Sky's parents mourn and move away. Ari graduates. Gets a job working at a bookstore. The impromptu memorial for Sky rots.
Ari (VO): And the next. And the next. And the next. And the next. And the next. And then five years were gone.

my time with you has shown that I can be alive --- based off of you’ve got mail! by phantoskii #art #sketch #doodle #oc #digitalart #illustration #originalcharacter #utau

My character Milo is drawn as a doodle looking towards the right. A cloud is barely visible within their face, another cloud creeping up from the bottom right is just not far enough to touch. Both images are based off of the "You've Got Mail!" album cover, by phantoskii.

My character Vera is drawn as a doodle looking towards the left. A huge cloud engulfs their background. Both images are based off of the "You've Got Mail!" album cover, by phantoskii.

Took an Easter break in "the' Wildwoods to visit family and do some painting. Weather was bleak until Saturday. So I took advantage to get this one. My oils are on linen on panel. "Susan Marie" 14" x 11" #Art#PleinAir#OilPainting some work in progress pics here: www.facebook.com/share/r/14VM...

Plein Air oil painting of a fishing boat docked in Otten's Harbor, Wildwood, NJ. View from dock, looking from stern to stem, with pilings. Sky is clear with light clouds.

A digitally painted illustration in greyscale, very unsaturated due to the drawings unfinished state. It's of a woman with long, messy and tangled hair looking upwards.

Birdbrain teto, but she's in a giant chicken suit like that guy from toy story 2 #utau #synthv #jamiepaige #kasaneteto

Kasane Teto in a giant fullbody chicken suit, pictured from the waist up on a baby blue background. Her head pokes out of the suit's cartoony chicken beak. A jagged, yellow speech bubble on the left of her exclaims "SO WEAK!", and her expression seems like she's about to cry. There is a smaller drawing of her on the lower right, doing her one-foot pose that she does in the music video. There are two decorative sparkles near this smalled illustration on the right.

was playing with a new brush recently and made this! #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #originalcharacter

My Dungeons and Dragons character, Romanor, who is a half minotaur and looks mostly bovine in his face - especially his nose and mouth. His face is covered in orange fur. He is looking peacefully with his eyes closed as it seems a gust of wind blows in his hair. He has blonde, curly-to-wavy long hair with bangs, with longhorn-like horns. He wears a green top, with only his shoulder showing.
