Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 24/09/2026It's a little surprising, but I'm pretty disappointed with classified Lara croft. I'll admit I'm not as into classified as much anymore but her articulation is much weaker than I remember, there's basically nothing at the head or waist. That, and the hands can't really hold any of her accessories. 141

Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I just had the unpleasant experience of bleeding pretty hard for half an hour because I ate some pretty strong pineapple? And apparently that's just a thing that happens? The fuck? 010

Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 12/09/2026That was a great trailer, that conspicuously doesn't say a single thing about what kind of game it even is. And TWENTY THIRTY, brother we ain't even sure if we're still gonna have a country by then. 140

You may think to yourself that this is a venture into the twilight zone. But no. This is just your local grocery. And Rodney no Likey. 10991317

Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 07/09/2026The metytoyz goblins are pretty great. Probably too expensive for what're pretty much army builders? But they have a ton of character, which is mostly what I'm looking for these days. 081
Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 05/09/2026I've been driving the old mazda again and the clicky wheel really is about as perfect as car UI got. Solid notches for every click, zero lag. I've learned to live with the subaru, but it's shocking how much better this is. I can't believe even mazda themselves eventually fell for the tablet scam. 200

Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 15/08/2026I ended up bullying myself into getting superion, but I 100% can't stand the backwards leg guys, so I tried printing a new set of legs to flip em around. The frame is surprisingly sturdy even tho I don't have the guys for it yet, but it does extend the shin proportions a little more than I'd like. 3110
Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 11/08/2026Really sucks that modern toy collecting is basically just "preorder this the second it's avaliable OR ELSE". Oh, and you wanted to import something? Sike, shipping is as much as the actual figures now. Anyway, I'm mad that people like amazing Yamaguchi now and symbiote spider man sold out. 040

Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 08/08/2026I eventually finished it, and it definitely picked up in the last third. But I'd say all the criticism I'd heard before I read it was true; a really cool premise, but paper thin characters. Every other chapter, it's another steely eyed spaceman with a single quirk to differentiate him from the rest. 000
Verticalturtles @verticalturtles.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Just saw spider-man again, and it really holds up? You'd think it'd feel cramped with so many little Side Dudes running around a la spider man 3, but it just feels lived in. And there was a ton of neat little visual tricks that similarly could have been really cheesy, but they worked too. 120
