To this day I still don’t know how you broke into the house, but I’m so grateful that you did. I loved you from the very first moment that I met you. The impossible “this is not my cat” with the biggest paws I had ever seen and simultaneously the tiniest meow that I had ever heard. You sat in the office like you belonged there, like this was your home… and it was. I’ve had pets my whole life and I have loved them all entirely in their own unique way but it wasn’t until I knew you that I really understood what a soul cat was. You were beyond one in a million and my perfect match in every way that a person could imagine. You weren’t just my baby, but you were my best friend. I know everyone always thinks that their boy is the best but I can’t imagine there being a better cat than you. Never one more devoted or with a more perfect bond. You were so smart and funny and loving. You came to me right when I needed you and were there for me in the darkest period in my life and you saved me in so many ways. I always told you I would never change a thing about you and that’s true. I just wish that we had more time. Even now I still don’t think I’ve managed to put in to words what you meant to me, what we meant to each other. I’ll forever be grateful that you chose me and I will never stop missing you. Rest well my sweet boy. Mom will take care of you until we see each other again. I love you Binx. Forever and always.
