Why is it that other countries that resist authoritarian governments can manage so MUCH more energy and frequency than we do? Our national opposition leadership has failed us as surely as the mass media has.

I recorded this personal documentation of Category 3 Hurricane Opal on this date, 31 years ago today. It even includes a very rare face reveal. But, I was 31 years younger, so not so decrepit. Along with '75 Eloise and 2018 Michael, one of three major hurricanes to impact my area in over 70 years.

Major flash flooding in Spain yesterday. In Madrigueras (Albacete), 142 mm fell in just 2.5 hours, killing one woman, while many others had to be rescued. These "DANA" events are not uncommon, but record warm Mediterranean water now provides further 'fuel' to them. www.eltiempo.es/noticias/mad...

"They say" even a broken (analog) clock is right twice a day. Obviously, POTUS doxxing anyone is abhorrent! But, in all of his time in office, there have only been two things he's come out for that I agreed with; neither of them was original thinking on his part. Ending the US Cent & making DST 365.

I understand the outrage about these ads, and share in it. But the amount of taxpayer money involved is almost negligible when compared with what we fund every single year to support one of the most profitable industries in history. And an industry that is poisoning us. All I hear is crickets.
