People who fill up more often than I do can get stickers for the pump. I filled up a couple of months ago and am good until February. I've got a couple with him pointing upward. I'll probably be able to use them for February's fill-u, but too late for the mid-terms.
Shows 10 stickers, neatly stacked and spread to the right to show the design, which is a picture of DJT pointing to his right and captioned in bold font, "I DID THAT!".

The disturbance is officially upgraded to a tropical depression. It is forecast to reach hurricane status. If it does, it will be the first hurricane in the Atlantic Basin for 2026. It is highly unusual to go this far into the hurricane season without a hurricane. 1914 was the last this late.

What is this demonic creature that pops up with no explanation in this company's pillow ads? Could it be Mike Lindell's self-image? I've never seen him smile, though.

We are one week away from breaking a record in the Atlantic Hurricane Basin for the latest formation of the season's first hurricane. September 21 1941 holds the record. This morning the NHC gives this area a 30% chance of development in the next 7 days. Odds of hurricane status are certainly less.
Map from the NHC showing the Atlantic Basin, with land masses (prominently North America). At mid-Atlantic, an area for potential tropical development is highlighted, and given a 30% chance for development in the next 7-days.

I noticed under 'Trending', something about BlueSky suspending someone for A.I. posts. So, I clicked it. Which turned out to be a big mistake. Have you ever read a transcript of a DJT so-called speech? It's that level of disjointed babbling.

The 1941 season went on to generate an additional three hurricanes in rapid succession, with the 4th storm reaching hurricane status only a couple of weeks after the first!

It has been 85 years since we've gone this far into a season without a system reaching hurricane status. In 1941, the first didn't arrive until September 21st. That storm peaked at 125 MPH and made landfall at Bay City, Texas. Four human deaths were attributed to that storm.

The statistical peak of the Atlantic hurricane season is September 10. That's Thursday of next week. Typically, the first hurricane would have formed by now, but the current conditions, influenced by a strong El Niño, have suppressed storm development.

This is the reverse of the 2026 US Dime. It includes the phrase, "Liberty Over Tyranny". I am not sure whether that is irony or a call to arms.

The reverse of the 2026 US Dime says, "Liberty Over Tyranny". I'm not sure whether to take that as irony in our present situation, or as a battle cry. But I prefer the latter.

I'm a single cat man, and an old one at that. I've had cats my whole life, but this old senior kitty is the sweetest old man I've ever known. Estimated age: 16 years. His name is BobCat, or just Bob for short. He adopted me about eight years ago, when this photo was taken. Long live Bob!

Ancient peoples hooking up with modern ones? 5,000 year old women and men meeting their modern counterparts? Male and female perspectives. Duckduckgo search assistant replies.
Comparing search results of the liikelyhood of ancient people being attracted to modern ones:
A man from 5,000 years ago would likely find a modern woman attractive, as attraction can be influenced by various factors beyond just physical appearance, including social dynamics and cultural differences. However, significant differences in lifestyle and communication would pose challenges in their interaction.

A woman from 5,000 years ago could not be attracted to a modern man, as they lived in different time periods and would not have had the opportunity to meet or interact. The concept of attraction is also influenced by cultural and social contexts that have evolved significantly over time.

Now available on the US Mint web site for preorder, shipping September 2nd. #Trumpcoin These are not being produced for circulation and are being offered for from $1.545 to $2.44 per coin, in 25 coin rolls or 100 coin bags. Best I can find, none of them will be released at face value. :^)
A screen capture from the US Mint web site showing the obverse of a DJT $1 coin, alongside a roll of 25 coins, and the quantity selection dialogue. It took several exchanges for me to get this dumb A.I. to admit that none of these monstrosities were planned for release to general circulation.

Me, to ChatGPT: NONE of these will be sold through the US Mint web site other than with significant premiums from $1.545 to $2.44 per coin, in 25 coin rolls or 100 coin bags. I am specifically interested in any intent to release them, probably through the Federal Reserve, to banks, at face value...like the Sacagawea coins were.

ChatGPT's reply: I don’t see any credible indication that the 2026 “President Donald J. Trump $1 coin” is intended to be released in bulk through the Federal Reserve to banks at face value (like the normal circulating $1 coin programs you’re comparing it to).

What I do see in reporting and Mint/Treasury-related material is:

The coin is being produced as part of the Semiquincentennial $1 coin authorization and is described as “available”/produced with a gold-like finish for the 2026 program.

The U.S. Mint’s “$1 Coin Rolls & Bags product options” are described as expected to go on sale as numismatic products, not as a stated plan for Federal Reserve distribution “at face value” with an announced quantity into circulation. usmint.gov

And importantly for your question: none of the sources I found provide an explicit plan like “X coins shipped to Federal Reserve Banks” or “available to banks at face value,” nor a publicly stated circulation-at-face-value allotment for the Trump $1.

On this hot July day, I ran across this photo I took long ago. Air temp was well below freezing, but with asphalt melted liquid water on the road. Splashed by other cars, freezing on hubcap while in motion. Result: Radial icicles. How unusual is this? I thought it nifty enough to take a photo.

50 years ago, as we prepared to celebrate our Bicentennial, one of the most beloved Quarter Dollar designs hit the streets, with the Colonial Drummer Boy reverse. Before the five per year Quarter reverses started in 1999, it was the first redesign in the Washington Quarter's 44 year history.

With the insane price increases on US Mint products this year over 2025, I am seriously wondering if DJT has his grifting pinkies on the till there. A prime example is the 2026 Uncirculated Mint Set: 2025 price $33.25 ... 2026 price $124.50. #usmint #numismatics The sets contain $5.82 in coinage.
The image shows a 2026 US Mint Uncirculated Coin Set.
