First up, a foursome that seems to suffer from serious star inflation (do not adjust your set, 5 stars for Xanadu is correct), but whatever, I unapologetically love all of these. I have a strong aversion to live action adaptations of animated classics so I've avoided this one, but— it comes highly recommended, Parker Posey and Alan Cumming are in it, and it just showed up on Criterion, so LFG. #Cultember the tenth is Josie and the Pussycats!

I am sad to report that Repo Chick's boyfriend Marco is a white boy with dreads. But at least they gave him a head injury. He makes finger guns at dachshunds .

Guys. We're in a golden age for cinema & horror. Word of mouth is back. Gone are the days of a bad opening weekend dooming you to early VOD. Kind of obsessed with the three women who are in the big Undead number strictly to build-a-Beef, they don't even sing backup or anything, there's definitely a rivalry between two of them, and one of them has big dreams.
