I haven't done any of the deep reading, but I've always found someone saying "X breaks immersion" to be absolute bullshit because, while it may be true for you, that line varies wildly My hot take: ttrpgs aren't good at immersion. Theatre and improv can be and I think LARP is probably great at it.
