Happy Monday! Let’s talk vampires

Vanessa Armstrong @vanessa-armstrong.com · 20/09/2026

On the surface, TV shows centered on vampires can look VERY different. Take The Vampire Lestat, for example, and compare it to the upcoming family comedy sitcom Eternally Yours. I argue, however, that most vampire shows have a key thing in common: www.tubetalk.media/p/eternally-...

What (All?) Vampire Shows Reveal About Being Human

The CBS sitcom Eternally Yours is the latest series that uses vampires to explore what it means to be alive.

Ignore this 100-degree weather! I'm declaring it's fall. To kick the season off, I ranked five books I've read recently that happen to have "witch" in the title. enjoy! #books www.tubetalk.media/p/witch-book...

I toured the museum before it opens later this month; it's cool, and not just because Star Wars, Batman & Banksy are in the same building.

It's been seven months since The Muppet Show special streamed on Disney+ to universal acclaim and strong streaming numbers, and yet, I cannot help but notice there are no additional episodes of The Muppet Show that have been broadcast since nor news of a new series?

I'm researching another pneumatic tube post for Tube Talk (coming to your inbox Sunday!) & found this photo from 1912 of a dude moving meat via a hanging basket. I think I love it? Look at this mustached man moving some 1912 meat. 😍 🥩 This is what gen AI is taking away from us.

The show will premiere sometime in January 2027. It will be a mystery of the week but will also dig into "the vulnerability" of Rockford, who — according to Boreanaz — will "examine his grief... and that grief will stay with him" throughout the series.
