Second severe storm alert warning on my phone this summer, which was freaky because I got it on the bus and other people did too Then I passed someone on the street who was using text to speech to hear the content of the message and it felt like I was in the beginning of an apocalypse movie

I had a big brain moment and realized I could put patches inside the cover-on-cover without ironing them to the cover itself... So those starlink patches can finally see the light of day instead of the dark safety of my drawer 🥹

It's so frustrating that the only time and way leadership can speak up is to put out a flimsy layoff notice while wiping their fake tears w/ money as they screw over hundreds of hardworking devs who poured all their love into the game. I'm really sorry, Bungie devs. You deserved so much better.

my comic-making skills are rusty It's a lot of text but bear with me #destiny2art l #D2comics

A destiny 2 comic. Panel 1: Lodi and my guardian Ceph are standing together, Lodi is saying "I've been having a hoot exploring the last city. The people are welcoming, the food is great..." Panel 2 is a close up of Lodi and ceph's faces. Lodi says "and boy do they hold you... In.. high regard" with a slightly awkward/judgemental expression. Ceph has question marks beside his face. Panels 3 and 4 show Lodi talking to Saint 14 and then crow, with each explaining in depth what the guardian has done for them. Panel 4 shows Lodi talking to Hawthorne, who launches into her famous repetitive tower dialogue but talking about the guardian "he just doesn't give up does he. Took out ghaul, woke up the traveler--". The last panel shows Ceph looking embarrassed while saying "ah, those guys". Lodi says "also, people really seem to like birds around here, huh?"

Working on a new project, Destiny Historia. The plan is to create a place/site to tell the story of Destiny from beginning to end. It'll be from a historical perspective, and we are looking for all the help we can to realize this project.

It wasn't just the game. It was the comradery, the community, the wins, the losses, the secrets, the discoveries, the memes, the telesto bugs, the chases, the late nights, the "one more try." Destiny was such a third space in my life I will never find elsewhere. It wasn't perfect but I loved it.

Digital art in soft, dark tones. Drifter and Eris hold each other close as if dancing, framed from the thighs up in the circle of the moon, a bright crescent of it on the lower right. A thin decorative frame encircles the moon as well as the corners of the image. Small italic text at the bottom reads "Joy, at last."
