my college newspaper made everyone who was able to publish stories take a libel test to make sure we didn’t accidentally do a defamation and I feel like tiktok should maybe do the same

idk what first-time mom needs to hear this but you do not need to log every diaper change, feed, and nap in the app, it’s not that serious. also talk to your doctor about zoloft

Something that really gets under my skin about the conservative tradwife propaganda is that it simultaneously elevates and demeans full-time parenting.

Pumping is so funny because you can ask any breastfeeding person what their favorite pump is and they’ll enthusiastically give you an answer. And then you can follow that question up with, “But did you want to run it over with your car?” and the answer will always be yes.

Two pages of a children’s book, one with a high contrast black and white rendering of a child, and the opposite page with the same image but inverted colors. Red text below reads “children smile”

headline in my inbox: "The War on Tylenol". Except that it isn't? It's a eugenicist war on pregnant people, blaming them and their medical caregivers for autism, which the eugenicists regard as a fate worse than death. Focusing on Tylenol hides that fact.

One thing conservatives are gonna do is they’re gonna make sure pregnant people are suffering as much as possible—because, of course, they hate women and want them to suffer!

hey so tylenol is the only pain reliever considered safe during pregnancy so by saying pregnant folks shouldn’t take it (in addition to being based on dubious research) is essentially just telling them they can’t have pain relief
