Hu-mons are so ashamed of their stink that they evolved shame flaps to cover the source of their stink. It’s not the stink I object to, but it has a tainted, curdled smell, owing all to their culture of covering their buttholes. I can literally smell their shame. There are a few hu’s that evolved past the need for their shame flaps, most notably Chief Miles O’Brien. We’re not sure what O’Brien means in his native land of Transporter Room 3, but we’re pretty sure it doesn’t translate to “supple and copious butt flaps”. That’s why I smoke Starport holocigarettes; Safe for the Cardboard Room or the Other Cardboard Room.
