5/ Fix VAR and refereeing inconsistency before the game dies. I remember the nearly forgotten joy of spontaneously celebrating a goal or when offside was used to stop attacking players gain unfair advantage. Now it’s ordeal by toenail widths.

I’m similarly sick of double dip movie or TV episode watching charges from subscription platforms. I like older shows and films that have been screened multiple times on terrestrial TV free of charge or covered by a BBC licence fee.

I absolutely love what Ben Stokes brings to the cricket field, magnificent leader & player. As ever with such departures, the worry starts about finding a suitable replacement, with effectively 3 players required to replicate Ben’s role. Time also for McCullum’s laidback malaise to depart asap.
