Excitement here at Chez Lez! The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered has landed. 11 years since the game's release, a year from Songs of the Past expansion and 2 years ahead of The Witcher IV. So far, so buggy - but nothing too bad, mostly dog having physics issue when trapped behind tree kind of thing

It smashed down rain in a sun shower this evening - such lovely light. Took this between wiper passes as I sat in traffic.

They're a larky lot up the recycling centre. The Holy Family (and what's that thing in middle? Don't think it's the baby Jesus) are watching your unruly kids. *disclaimer* Watching, not protecting. Look closely to the right of the HF and you'll also see a skeleton hanging in the undergowth.

I dreamt that me and my good buddy Trish Byrne hatched a plan to rob veterinary drugs to give to those who can't afford them. Turns out they are shipped by stage coach, so we had to steal horses to do it. I ended up getting an arrow in the back and my horse fell so we ended up using all the drugs.

She spoke for us all.
Photo of little girl in a red dress holding her hand written sign in front of her face. It reads "go away bad man" and her had a drawing of a grumpy/angry - faced orange man in a blue suit and a red tie. It's surprising accurate.

You know when you get your head stuck in a jumper and you think you might die and then instantly illogically worry what would go on the death certificate? Watching Trump as President feels just like that.

Metaphorical blues and twos to the vet first thing this morning. Poor Letty has a severe UTI. It's bloody scary how fast they come on. She was the *best* girl at the vets - with a new vet and all! Happily she came home full of pain relief and antibiotics and she is now flat out asleep on her sofa.

Pardon my mis-spelling of Burnham. There is actually a reason for this. I find him kind of irritating for reasons I can't explain. So I've decided that he's actually got a second career in a partnership of funeral directors: Burnum and Urnum. They are based in Urmston.

Burnum failing to catch the clue in the term "United Ireland" and then dropping the whole concept butter side down "...since the Brexit referendum, I think we’ve had too much division, too much arguing, too much, backward looking. We need to fix the things right in front of us in the here and now."

The image is of a four panel comic.
Panel one shows an eldritch god, a skeletal possum like creature with large antlers, saying "I AM AS OLD AS THE FOREST ITSELF".
Panel two shows a stick figure saying, "But you must have been a baby at some point?"
Panel three shows the eldritch god saying "Well. Yes."
Panel four shows a tiny eldritch baby sitting on a rock, his antlers just little twigs.

This is the first year we've had mosquitoes in the house (we've the kitchen door open most of the day at the moment). No idea where they're all coming from. I've been bitten a lot - which is also odd because I slept on a veranda in the wilds of the Blue Mountains in Australia and was unbitten.

Huge increase in butterfly and moths this year, happily. It's hard to say if that's a general increase or things we've done differently in our garden this year. We've 2 types of Hawthorn now and I left a small thistle patch. There was a lovely magpie moth on the kitchen floor last night.
